Canadian transportation firm Trimac Income Fund Tuesday named Edward Malysa to be president and chief operating officer of Trimac Transportation Services, effective Jan. 1.

Malysa, who has been with Trimac for more than 30 years — most recently chief operating officer since 2008 — will succeed Maurice McCaig, who will remain a director of TTSI and a trustee of Trimac Income Fund.

Trimac Income Fund is the Canadian segment of Trimac Group, which ranks No. 40 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
