Omar Cueto
The Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Association installed Omar Cueto as its new secretary during the International Big R Show in Las Vegas recently.
In 2016, Cueto will become chairman of APRA.
Cueto, president of LJ Diesel Service in Jacksonville, Fla., is a writer, editorial contributor and presenter who addresses issues affecting the diesel injector marketplace, the future of remanufacturing and green technology.
He also is active in promoting technologically advanced remanufacturing as a way to create jobs and benefit the environment through the creation of enhances engine performance, increased fuel efficiency and lowered emissions. Currently, his company is cooperating with the University of North Florida on research and development in the diesel field.
Cueto is a member of the Association of Diesel Specialists and AAIA.
